The Lyons Mane Salon first opened it's doors to the Asheville community May 1st of 2007. Since our first day we we have worked diligently to stay in touch with current trends as well as continuing our education to better serve our clients. When you enter our doors you will realize you are in a salon built not just on professionalism but friendship as well. Sit back, relax and enjoy the break because you're life will be waiting when you leave!
**INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY **
In the event of inclement weather and you have an appointment, you will be contacted if there is to be a change; otherwise we will plan to see you at your scheduled appointment time. If you need to reschedule your appointment, you may leave a message by calling the salon number. You will be rescheduled at our earliest possible availability.

As a business owner, I can assure you, there is nothing more important to me than the health, safety and well-being of my staff and guests.

`~There is a certified covid killing air system in the salon for your added protection.This system is currently being used in The White House, Google, Harvard University as well as Johns Hopkins just to name a few.
Please know and understand that the prevention of the spread of communicable diseases is the hallmark of why our industry is licensed. It is our duty to all of you to provide the best services in the safest environment possible regardless of Covid. I am receiving weekly updates from healthcare professionals as well as the CDC. It is upon this information that I base all my business decisions. I will not debate with anyone who does not agree with the standards I have set as we continue to do our very best with the information provided.

Judith Lyons-Picard
Owner/Stylist
Judi is a native Charlestonian that transplanted to Asheville in 1995. In addition to her art training from Wingate College and The College Of Charleston, Judi completed finishing school and the professional modeling program at Millie Lewis Modeling Agency. Judi was a finalist in the Miss S.C. USA Pageant 1992 as well as Mrs. WNC 2009. Judi received her cosmetology certification from North Carolina Academy of Cosmetic Art and has been honing her skills for over 25 years.
When not behind her chair and available, Judi is a freelance curl educator. Judi specializes in cutting curly hair, color, long hair styling and men's grooming. Judi has been trained extensively by Paul Mitchell over the past 20 years. Judi received her level 3 (highest level) DevaCurl Certification from DevaCurl Inc. in October of 2019 and is a DevaCurl Product Pro. Judi is also a Ouidad stylist & certified in hair extension installation from Dream Catcher Inc.
In Judi's personal time she enjoys working out at the gym, running, cooking, relaxing with her husband Guy and their 3 dogs. On Sundays you'll likely find her at Church and spending time with friends. You can follow Judi on Instagram @curlandcolorbyjudi
Cara Hardin
Stylist

Cara Hardin is a native of the Waynesville area. She has been a professional hairstylist for over 25 years. Cara has had extensive training with top companies such as Redken, Scruples, Goldwell, Schwarzkopf and Paul Mitchell in hair cutting and color techniques. Cara is extremely meticulous when cutting hair and loves short sassy hair cuts! Cara is a most warm and friendly person to all who meet her. Cara in her down time loves to shop and be with friends going to dinner or traveling!

Sarah Owenby-Bishop Is a native of Asheville, NC. After graduating from Enka High School Sarah obtained her massage certification from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College. Sarah is always actively learning new ways to bring relief to her clients through voluntary continuing education. In addition to her traditional table massage skills, Sarah has quite the following of Thai Massage clients. She is currently working toward being certified as a Thai Master. In addition to her Massage certification Sarah also has obtained her Associates of Science from A-B Tech. Sarah is married to Simon Bishop and has a beautiful son as well as several fur babies. In her down time she rides horses with her Mother Laura and enjoys running with her Father Kenneth. Sarah is also knowledgeable about essential oils as well as healthy living habits.
